Device Conditions

The devices offered come in several conditions, each reflecting the level of use and the interventions carried out:

• New: The device is new and benefits from the manufacturer's direct European warranty. It has never been used and is offered in official manufacturer packaging.
• Refurbished: The device has been audited by a partner. Non-functional parts have been replaced and the battery level is guaranteed. Depending on the partner, a warranty may be offered to the retailer. Data wiping has been performed before it was put on sale.
• Functional: The device has been partially tested by our teams to identify parts showing breakage. The network or battery have not been tested and may require replacement before being put back on sale by the refurbisher. No warranty is provided, except in case of failure upon receipt. Data wiping has been performed before it was put on sale. The refurbisher must imperatively inspect the device upon receipt and perform the essential checks before any re-marketing.
• To be repaired: Failures or breakages have been detected by our teams. The failures are specified on the product sheet. Data wiping has been performed before it was put on sale. No warranty is associated, except in case of failure not indicated in the product description. Batteries are never tested and are therefore considered as potentially needing replacement.

Aesthetic Grades

Refurbished devices are classified according to grades that reflect their aesthetic condition:

• Grade A: Device in very good condition, with minimal signs of wear. It may show slight scratches or scuffs, but remains in excellent cosmetic condition.
• Grade B: Device in good condition, showing more visible signs of use, such as more pronounced scratches or marks.
• Grade C: Device in fair condition, with obvious signs of wear, such as marked scratches or dents.
• Grade MIX ABC: The customer may receive a device in a random grade among A, B, or C.

Logistics note: The charging cable is not included by default, but may be present in some stocks.

Commercial Reminder

Excerpt from the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (article 16):

• The range of functional devices (Pre-Owned) offered on UTOPYA is intended exclusively for refurbishers. Under no circumstances can it be subject to direct resale to the end user.
• The refurbisher undertakes to comply with the legislation applicable in the country where the device will be put back into circulation. This particularly concerns complete functionality tests to establish that they meet legal safety obligations and the use that the consumer can legitimately expect.
• The return of a device is not authorised except in the case where it does not comply with these conditions mentioned above.
