Device Conditions

The devices offered are available in several conditions, each reflecting the level of usage and the interventions carried out:

• New: The device is brand new and benefits from the manufacturer's direct European warranty. It has never been used and is supplied in the official manufacturer packaging.
• Refurbished: The device has been audited by a partner. Non-functional parts have been replaced, and the battery level is guaranteed. Depending on the partner, a warranty may be provided to the reseller. Data wiping has been completed prior to resale.
• Functional: The device has been partially tested by our teams to identify any damaged components. The network connectivity and battery have not been tested and may require replacement before resale by the refurbisher. No warranty is provided except in the case of a dead-on-arrival issue. Data wiping has been completed prior to resale. The refurbisher must thoroughly inspect the device upon receipt and perform all necessary checks before placing it back on the market.
• To Repair: Faults or physical damages have been identified by our teams. The issues are specified in the product description. Data wiping has been completed prior to resale. No warranty is provided except in the case of an undisclosed defect not mentioned in the product description. Batteries are never tested and should therefore be considered potentially in need of replacement.

Cosmetic Grades

Refurbished devices are classified according to grades that reflect their cosmetic condition:

• Grade A: Device in very good condition, with minimal signs of wear. It may show slight scratches or scuffs but remains in excellent cosmetic condition.
• Grade B: Device in good condition, showing more visible signs of use such as scratches or more noticeable marks.
• Grade C: Device in fair condition, with clear signs of wear such as deep scratches or impacts.
• MIX ABC Grade: The customer may receive a device in a random grade among A, B, or C.

Commercial Reminder

Excerpt from the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (Article 16):

• The range of functional devices (Pre-Owned) offered on UTOPYA is intended exclusively for refurbishers. Under no circumstances may these devices be resold directly to end users.
• The refurbisher undertakes to comply with the applicable legislation in the country where the device will be placed back on the market. This notably includes carrying out comprehensive functionality tests to ensure compliance with legal safety obligations and with the level of performance that consumers may legitimately expect.
• The return of a device is not permitted unless it does not comply with the conditions mentioned above.
