Product Description

ORICO M.2 NVMe SSD Cloning Station - 10 Gbps Duplicator and Dual Bay Enclosure

Description

The ORICO M2P2-C3-C station is the ultimate tool for managing, backing up, and duplicating your data on M.2 NVMe SSD drives. This versatile device acts as both a high-performance dual bay external enclosure and a standalone duplicator. Its offline cloning function allows you to copy the entire contents of a source drive to a target drive with a single click, without the need to connect to a computer. Whether you want to upgrade your laptop's SSD to a larger capacity or create mirror system backups, this station provides a simple, fast, and secure solution.

Featuring a USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C interface, it supports transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps, ideal for video professionals or IT technicians handling large files. Its robust aluminum alloy design is not just aesthetically pleasing; it provides excellent passive heat dissipation, protecting your SSDs from overheating during intensive cloning processes. Compact and stylish, the ORICO station is compatible with all standard NVMe SSD formats (2230 to 2280) and offers a smooth user experience with its cloning progress LED indicator.

Workshop Tips & Usage

Before starting an offline cloning process, make sure that the SSD in the "Target" bay has equal or greater capacity than the SSD in the "Source" bay, as all data on the target drive will be erased. Technical Tip: To optimize transfers, use the provided thermal pads if installing SSDs permanently in the enclosure. If cloning an operating system (Windows/Mac), ensure that the partition scheme (GPT or MBR) is compatible with your destination machine. Finally, disconnect the USB cable from the computer before activating the physical cloning mode to switch to standalone (Offline) mode.
