ReLife© Refurbished Screen
Description
ReLife© refurbished screens embody the excellence of refurbishment in the professional mobile repair sector. Designed to preserve the entire original user experience, these screens offer display quality, touch responsiveness, and durability strictly identical to those of a new screen. The ReLife© refurbishment process requires keeping all internal components — digitizer, polarizer, touch cell, and LCD or OLED panel — thus ensuring perfect preservation of the original characteristics. Only the outer glass is replaced with extreme precision, ensuring incomparable optical and mechanical integrity.
This specification avoids any performance alteration, from touch sensitivity to colour reproduction, unlike heavy refurbishment processes that also replace the digitizer or other sensitive layers, often resulting in a loss of quality and increased fragility.
Repairing for longer
Refurbished screens allow for a greater number of devices to be repaired. They offer an economical alternative when the original ServicePack screen is expensive, and they extend the availability period of parts. Indeed, most manufacturers stop producing spare parts after a few years or experience periods of stock shortages. ReLife© screens thus guarantee almost permanent availability, allowing for rapid repairs within 24 hours, even on older or temporarily unavailable models.

Optical fingerprint sensor calibration
After replacing a screen, smartphones equipped with an optical fingerprint reader integrated under the panel may show instability or reading errors. This phenomenon does not indicate a failure of the replacement part, but results from a tiny optical misalignment between the sensor left in place and the structure of the new display. It is particularly observed when installing compatible screens.
Common symptoms include an abnormally long reaction time, repeated recognition failures, or complete blocking when registering a new fingerprint. Executing a software calibration procedure, combined with the use of physical reference targets, allows for the precise realignment of the sensor to restore its original sensitivity and responsiveness.
This software and hardware operation constitutes a standard intervention in a repair workshop. It secures post-replacement quality control, guarantees a smooth user experience, and avoids the unnecessary replacement of a perfectly functional biometric sensor.
Instructions for the RELIFE RL-071B calibrator
- Opening the technical menu: Turn on the device, access the Phone application, and dial the code
*#899#to open Engineer Mode. - Navigation and initialisation: Go to the DEVICE tab, select Fingerprint Test then Optical Fingerprint Calibration, enter the validation code
6776and confirm by pressing START. - Scanning the yellow target: Position the flesh-coloured (yellow) side of the RELIFE RL-071B block perfectly in the centre of the light zone emitted by the sensor and wait during the analysis.
- Scanning the black target: Turn the tool over to apply the opaque black side to the illuminated zone as soon as the system interface requests it on the screen.
- Scanning the striped target: Finish the sequence by applying the side with white stripes, placed vertically without exerting excessive pressure on the panel.
- Saving and finalisation: Once the validation message is displayed on the screen, remove the RELIFE calibrator and it is mandatory to restart the smartphone to definitively apply the new settings.
