Complete OLED Screen for Galaxy A25 5G (A256B) (With Frame)
Description
This complete compatible OLED screen (supplied with frame) for Samsung Galaxy A25 5G (SM-A256B) has been rigorously selected by UTOPYA to offer a reliable alternative to the original manufacturer component. It is part of a controlled technical approach aimed at guaranteeing the performance and stability of repairs while reducing costs. Unlike an OEM part, this compatible version comes from third-party manufacturers whose quality can vary greatly. This is precisely where our expertise comes in: UTOPYA evaluates, selects, and validates all suppliers before any integration into our catalogue. Each batch is subject to a strict quality control process, carried out by our technical teams in France or China depending on the product type. Delivered pre-assembled on a frame, this screen facilitates faster and safer installation in the workshop. Our mission is to rule out unstable production and only collaborate with manufacturers offering the best levels of technical compliance and reliability.
Important information: Samsung One UI 8.5 update
This compatible screen is not compatible with the Samsung One UI 8.5 update. On this system version, the update can lead to a loss of the screen's touch function, even though it is tested and fully functional upon delivery. This is not a manufacturing defect or a quality issue with the screen, but a software incompatibility between the manufacturer's new system and compatible components.
Mandatory precautions:
- Do not update the device to One UI 8.5 once the screen is installed.
- Do not install this screen on a phone already updated to One UI 8.5.
If the device has already been updated, voluntarily or automatically: the touch function can be restored by reverting to the One UI 8.0 version. This rollback is possible because version 8.5 and the latest version 8.0 share the same security patch level, which does not activate the bootloader's anti-rollback lock.
Procedure for reverting to One UI 8.0:
- Download the official One UI 8.0 firmware corresponding exactly to the SM-A256B model and the device's region (CSC).
- Turn off the phone, then put it into Download mode: hold Volume Up + Volume Down and connect the USB cable to the PC.
- From a PC, open Odin and load the firmware files (BL, AP, CP, CSC). Use HOME_CSC to keep data, or CSC for a full reset.
- Start the flash and wait for the restart. Touch is functional again under One UI 8.0.
- Do not reinstall the One UI 8.5 update on the device.
As this malfunction is due to a software incompatibility and not a manufacturing defect, it cannot give rise to any warranty return or after-sales return for this reason.
