The PRIME Advantage: Diagnostic-Ready and Zero IC Transplantation
PRIME technology is based on an original IC, reprogrammed and factory-soldered. In practical terms, it eliminates the riskiest step of a compatible installation: the transplantation of the customer's original IC via micro-soldering. What this changes in your workshop:
- Zero micro-soldering, zero IC transplantation: the programmed original IC is already in place. You eliminate 100% of micro-soldering operations and the associated risks (torn ribbon cable, thermal damage, dead IC).
- 'Reused Part' qualification: in compliance with current iOS protocols, the screen passes the Repair Assistant and qualifies as a 'Reused Part' in Settings > General > About > Parts and Service History, avoiding the 'Unknown Part' alert.
- Installation procedure on iPhone 14: launch the diagnostic with the screen alone, Sensor Flex disconnected, then install the flex once the diagnostic is validated. On this generation, the Sensor Flex does not participate in the diagnostic: if connected during the operation, the part will not pass. A key advantage compared to newer models, there is no dependency on the customer's own phone Sensor Flex. The 'Reused Part' status is displayed after the diagnostic, never upon simple installation.

- Sharp and bright display: LTPS technology ensures high pixel density, good brightness and faithful colourimetry, at the best level for an LCD panel, with optimised readability outdoors.
- Native 60Hz refresh rate: touch responsiveness and display fluidity compliant with the original iPhone 14 technical specifications, without latency or dead zones.
- LTPS Backplane: low-temperature polycrystalline silicon offers better electronic mobility and finer backlight management than standard LCDs, for a stable and homogeneous panel.
Technical Transparency & Installation Precautions
The actual state of each function after installation, and the limits to be aware of:
- Automatic brightness not supported: on this LTPS panel (conversion from original OLED), the LCD structure does not allow for reliable functioning of the ambient light sensor. Automatic brightness is therefore not supported and must be adjusted manually by the user. This is the accepted trade-off for an accessible LTPS compatible on an OLED model.
- Biometric integrity: full compatibility with the Face ID module is maintained during the transfer of the customer's original top ribbon cable.
- iOS scalability: PRIME recognition is based on a programmed original IC, compliant with current iOS diagnostic protocols. As component history remains managed by Apple, the behaviour of screens with programmed ICs may evolve according to the manufacturer's future update policies. We monitor these developments closely.
